While shopping at Don Quijote Shinjuku Tonanguchi earlier tonight, I saw a familiar face while going down the stairs to exit the store. I never knew Godzilla could be seen there, but there you go. Enjoy!

Until April 23, the 8th floor of the Hotel Gracery Shinjuku will be hosting a wonderful diorama featuring Godzilla's squaring off against Kiryu. It was quite a dynamic sight to behold, so let's let the photos do the rest of the talking. Enjoy!

Yesterday (Thursday, January 18), I stopped by the Godzilla Store Tokyo to see what was on offer. I really enjoyed the New Year's-themed displays that were there, but they're great every time I see them. Here's what I saw. Enjoy!

Yesterday (Thursday, January 18), I stopped by Shinjuku while running errands. I saw some cool sights, so I decided to snap a few photos. Enjoy!

On the way home today, I stopped by Toho Cinemas Shinjuku and spotted the Godzilla-themed claw machines seen above and below. I don't believe they were there the last time I was in the theater, so I decided to snap a couple of pictures.

The other thing that caight my attention was the massive banner promoting the upcoming release (in Japan) of Ridley Scott's Napoleon (2023), starring Joaquin Phoenix. The banner correctly notes that Phoenix won the Best Actor Oscar for Joker (2019), which remains untouched as the best film of the previous decade -- and then some.

I'll certainly be checking out Napoleon once it's released here. I don't think it will reach the heights that Joker did, but I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Revisiting the Godzilla Head in Shinjuku!

'Godzilla Minus One' Stomps Its Way into Shinjuku!

Shinjuku has received its fair share of ballyhoo for the upcoming release of Godzilla Minus One (2023), due in theaters on November 3. Interestingly, the new Godzilla flick has to share some ad space with Gareth "Stone Age" Edwards' latest joint, The Creator (2023). Anyway, here's how Toho Cinemas Shinjuku looks at the moment. Enjoy!
