Today (Sunday, October 29), I visited the Godzilla head at the Hotel Gracery Shinjuku with my friend Jacob, who's visiting from the U.S. Instead of a thousand words, here's almost a thousand pictures -- enjoy!

'Godzilla Minus One' Stomps Its Way into Shinjuku!

Shinjuku has received its fair share of ballyhoo for the upcoming release of Godzilla Minus One (2023), due in theaters on November 3. Interestingly, the new Godzilla flick has to share some ad space with Gareth "Stone Age" Edwards' latest joint, The Creator (2023). Anyway, here's how Toho Cinemas Shinjuku looks at the moment. GODZILLA: PLANET EATER! Coming to Shinjuku!

Godzilla: The Planet Eater is opening in Japan in a few weeks, and its advertising is starting to gear up. Toho Cinemas Shinjuku is starting to get into the act. The photos contained in this blog were taken there today, except for the last two, which were taken at Shinjuku Wald 9.

While it may not be receiving the fanfare of Shin Godzilla, or even Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters, the new animated Godzilla film is finally getting its promotional roll-out in Japan. Here's how things currently look at Toho Cinemas Shinjuku.
