An Evening of Tokusatsu Talk!

After visiting the National Film Archives, I attended another event on July 16 with SFX director Eiichi Asada and tokusatsu crew member Takashi Naganuma.

I had a fun chat with Asada-san about a few tokusatsu topics and some of the more challenging aspects of his work. Asada-san, as always, couldn't have been any nicer.

What can I say about Takashi Naganuma that I haven't already? He's always a fun guy with an offbeat sense of humor. This event served as a special birthday celebration for him, which is right around the corner.

We also celebrated the memory of Teruyoshi Nakano, who sadly passed away last month. His presence will be sorely missed.
