Check out my new interview with actress Gigi Perreau, who stars in the American version of the Toho actioner Conflagration (1975), which was released domestically as High Seas Hijack (1977). She also appears in the sci-fi cult classic Journey to the Center of Time (1967), which is another topic of discussion. Since this post is about high seas hijack, is there any way you know where I can see that version. I have seen the Japanese version, as well as the Americanization of half human, varan, the first gamera, among others. I was even able to view the amerization of subemerssion of Japan. But I have yet to see high seas hijack.
ReplyDeleteIt's not available online that I've seen. I saw it when it aired on AMC in the fall of 2002 (as I recall). I recorded it onto a VHS tape, but who knows where that recording is now. I haven't seen High Seas Hijack since I lived in the States.
