Out and About in Hibiya!

Yesterday (Saturday, November 4), my friend Jacob and I walked around Hibiya and the surrounding area. Our travels took us to Toho Cinemas Hibiya (with the classic Godzilla statue), Hibiya Chanter, and various other locations. I even found a new Godzilla Minus One (2023) advertisement in the basement of Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, which you can see at the very bottom of the blog post. Enjoy!

We stopped by Toho Studios and the Godzilla statue earlier today, and here are the highlights. At the bottom, you'll find a promotional tie-in between the Odakyu Romancecar and Godzilla Minus One (2023) that I spotted -- where else? -- on the Odakyu Line. Enjoy these photos, too!

Earlier today (Friday, May 26), I went to Toho Cinemas Hibiya and took some photos of the Godzilla statue. The background was quite cool, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to snap some photos. Enjoy!

On Sunday, November 20, I went to Toho Cinemas Hibiya and took some photos of the Godzilla statue, as well as some fun extras. Soundtrack albums for Midnight Cowboy (1969) and Lost Highway (1997) were for sale, which wasn't something I was expecting to see. Anyway, enjoy!

On January 7, I stopped by Toho Cinemas Hibiya, and, given that a snowstorm had just passed through Tokyo, the sky was completely devoid of clouds. I thought it made for a nice backdrop for the Godzilla statue, so I snapped some photos. Enjoy!

My friend Jacob is currently visiting Japan, and on Sunday, I had a great time showing him around some familiar locations, such as Toho Studios, Kadokawa Daiei Studios, Godzilla and Ultraman statues, and beyond. A few highlights are below, but they don't really do justice to the fun we had just hanging out and gabbing about monster movies. Anyway, on to the photos.
