A brand-new vintage account has just been published with former Hong Kong voice actress Linda Masson. Ms. Masson was married to Ted Thomas during the heyday of Axis International and lent her voice to numerous dubs recorded at the studio. She dubbed Yuriko Hishimi in Godzilla vs. Gigan (1972), Hiroyuki Kawase in Godzilla vs. Megalon (1973), and Reiko Tajima in Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (1974). HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TED THOMAS! The Voice Actor Extraordinaire Turns 83!

The multi-talented Ted Thomas will no doubt celebrate his birthday in a big way.

Hong Kong actor/writer/bon vivant Ted Thomas turns 83 on July 11. Born in Cheshire, England, in 1929, Mr. Thomas went on to establish Axis International, one of Asia's first English-language lip-sync dubbing companies. Axis International dubbed a number of Godzilla and Toho titles, including Godzilla vs. Megalon (1973) and Godzilla vs. Gigan (1972).

Ted Thomas appears onscreen as an actor in the Shaw Brothers' Mighty Peking Man (1977).
