Viewing the Cherry Blossoms Along Meguro River!

In between Kyoko Ifukube (right) and her friend Akiyo.

On my last full day in Japan (Saturday, March 30), I met with Kyoko Ifukube and her friend Akiyo. We met at a Saizeriya restaurant in Nakameguro and then proceeded to view the cherry blossoms (well, what little there were at the time) along Meguro River. The evening lasted about two hours and was a lot of fun. I hope we can meet again in the near future!

Cherry Blossoms Along Meguro River!

Cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Tokyo, and I had the occasion to check them out up close and personal along Meguro River, one of Tokyo's most popular (and busiest) viewing spots. Here's what I saw. Enjoy!

Cherry Blossoms Begin Blooming!

While out and about today, I noticed that the cherry blossoms were beginning to bloom (a bit earlier than I expected). I snapped some photos of what I saw. Enjoy!

Cherry Blossoms Along Meguro River!

It's that time of year again. On Saturday, April 6, I took a walk around Meguro River in Naka-Meguro and photographed the cherry blossoms around the river. Meguro River has become a popular destination for cherry blossom-viewing in recent years, and I think you can see why. Here are my photos. Enjoy!
