GOGREEN, GO! Chatting with Super Sentai Star Atsushi Harada!

Actor Atsushi Harada. Photo by Brett Homenick.

Tonight, I paid another visit to the bar owned and operated by actor Atsushi Harada, who starred on Kyukyu Sentai GoGoFive (1999-2000) as GoGreen, and Kamen Rider 555 (2003-04) as Kamen Rider Delta.

I hadn't been to his bar in a few months, so I enjoyed catching up with Harada-san. A few weeks ago, Harada-san went to New York on vacation, and he showed me several photos from his trip. Harada-san visited places like the Statue of Liberty, Yankee Stadium, and even Trump Tower.

According to Harada-san, the above is a prop used in the mecha cockpit scenes from GoGoFive, so naturally I had to photograph it. I really need to become more familiar with Super Sentai. Suffice it to say, I have a lot of catching up to do!

HANGING WITH KAMEN RIDER DELTA! Paying Another Visit to Actor Atsushi Harada!

Tonight, I returned to the bar owned by actor Atsushi Harada. Harada-san is best known for his roles in the TV show GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka (1998), Kyukyu Sentai GoGoFive (1999-2000) as GoGreen, and Kamen Rider 555 (2003-04) as Kamen Rider Delta.

It was great to catch up on things. While there, Harada-san was reading the script for his current acting job. Hopefully, I'll have a chance to check it out. Thanks again for a fun evening, Harada-san!

Tonight I had the privilege of meeting actor Atsushi Harada at his bar in Ginza. Harada-san appeared in the TV series GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka (1998), Kyukyu Sentai GoGoFive (1999-2000) as GoGreen, and Kamen Rider 555 (2003-04) as Kamen Rider Delta.

Harada-san spoke could converse in English, and we enjoyed talking about various tokusatsu topics. It was great talking about everything from Godzilla to the most obscure Showa-era superheroes you could imagine.

Later in that evening, Harada-san brought me to Cyclone where the conversation continued. It was certainly a wonderful evening for all things tokusatsu. Thank you very much, Harada-san!
